Shane Daniel Pust, 47, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025. Born June 12, 1978, Shane was known for his strong work ethic, athletic ability, and dedication to his family, as well as his passion for working out and staying active, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and deep love for his family and friends.
Shane met the love of his life, Nicky, at age 27, and together they raised two beautiful children, Jasmine and Gavin. He worked in construction for many years and went on to own his own business. He then attended trade school to become a lineman and spent countless hours traveling to complete his apprenticeship. After finishing his program, he worked at Excel Energy in Minnesota. Shane and his family later moved to Arizona, where he became a foreman with SRP.
He loved coaching Gavin’s baseball team, playing softball, and sharing daily talks with Jasmine about her recent accomplishments. Shane treasured these moments with his children and also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Shane is survived by his wife, Nicky; children, Jasmine and Gavin; parents, Don and Deaun; sister, Rochelle; grandparents; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service and celebration of life will be held on January 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Church in San Tan Valley, with a lunch to follow. Shane will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. at San Tan Memorial Gardens. A gathering to share memories will follow at San Tan Flat.
“The lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the joy he shared will remain with us always.”
