Marie Catherine Anderson, a devoted sister, friend, and lover of life’s simple pleasures, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in Gilbert, Arizona.
A Life of Dedication
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Edward and Frances Peters, Marie moved with her family to Phoenix at the age of 14. A proud graduate of Camelback High School, she entered the
workforce at Skaggs Drug Store before embarking on a distinguished career with Honeywell, where she dedicated nearly 30 years of service.
Passions and Joys
Marie’s heart was truly in her home and her community. Whether she was nurturing her garden, cheering on her beloved Arizona Diamondbacks, or spending time with her
cherished “fur-babies,” Marie found beauty in the world around her. Above all, her family and friends were the center of her universe.
While her passing leaves a significant void, her loved ones find great comfort in knowing she is resting in peace with the Lord and has been reunited with her beloved husband, Mike
Fowler.

We’re so sorry for your loss, Marie was one of a kind. She’s out of pain and reunited with Mike and Ma so she’s happy now. I can hear their chatter in heaven in my head! No swearing of course. We love you Aunt Kay and Uncle John and are praying for both of you. And we are here for you always. ❤️
