Submit a PhotoLoretta Sorgatz, 74, passed away on November 12, 2023, in Chandler, Arizona. Loretta led a joyful life filled with family, laughter, palm trees, and great food.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Brad and Lisa; and grandchildren, Rylee, Mason, and Maci.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Gilbert Memorial Park, with a viewing beginning one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am.

Loretta was a lifelong friend since our high school days. One of my earliest memories was of us being in the shallow end of swim class where we bonded. Back then we had a swim class every week. We both had never learned to swim and were deathly afraid of the water, but it didn’t keep us from laughing. We had so many more laughs and great memories to cherish.
Our last conversation was spent the same way, giggling like high schoolers catching up on life.
Loretta, you were a great friend and you always made me laugh. I will miss you dearly.
Loretta was always kind, cheerful and yes, laughed a lot. We love that about her. And we know she is happy in her new life. Take comfort in that she is fine. Love to the whole family.
