Kimberly was the beloved daughter of Jimmy Hiep Hoang and Annie Nguyet Cao Hoang, and the cherished youngest sister of Kathy Hoang and Michelle Hoang.
Kimberly was known for her warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit. She brought light and joy to every room with her laughter, generosity, and love for family and friends. She will be remembered for her vibrant smile, her passion for music and the beach, and the way she made others feel truly seen and loved.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and countless unforgettable memories. Kimberly will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kimberly now rests among the angels, her soul as free and endless as the ocean she loved, her memory glowing in every sunset we see.

Kimberly was always like an older sister to me growing up. I was very lucky to grow up across the street from her and her amazing family. She was truly beautiful inside and out. I’m so grateful to have met her.
Kimberly always found a way to make the best of hard situations and make everyone laugh in the process. I’ve always hoped to become more like her; so brave, incredibly giving, one of the funniest people I knew, inclusive with anyone that she met, and she had this intelligence that was almost intimidating. She has always been a friend that I’ve looked up to, almost like a big sister(despite being the same age haha)- she always had great advice for me be it in relationships, schooling or even car problems- she always had the answers. Anyone that was having a tough time, she would sacrifice herself to make sure that they felt loved and appreciated. Hell, the reason I have our group of best friends was because she included me in hangouts when I felt lost in life. I will never forget that.
I will miss hearing Kim’s infectious laughter and the little inside jokes that she always had in her back pocket. I was so fortunate to have made so many amazing memories with her. I am so grateful to have had Kimberly in my life for the short time that she was here. It was such a blessing to have experienced her love. I will continue to keep her memory alive and look for little reminders that she is still in my corner. Kimberly touched the lives of so many individuals and her absence will be felt forever.
You were the greatest person I’ve ever known. I love you with all my heart and will look for your signs every day. I will feel your warmth and love at every sunset, your calmness every time I’m at the beach, and your humor in joyous times. I hope you’re out there walking on the sands of the most beautiful beaches, catching all the sunsets, and hugging both our grandmas. I cannot wait for us to be reunited when the time comes. I love you
I’m so very sorry for Kim’s family and friends. I send love to all of them during this difficult time. She was a great person and will be very missed. Happy to have known you, Kim.
Kim was someone special. A genuine bright spot in a world that grows ever cynical. She was reliable, radiant, brilliant, beautiful, hilarious, and present. She was truly a friend to everyone. If you were going through a tough and just needed someone to talk to, if you didn’t quite know how to do something at work or just wanted to share something exciting, she was always happy to lend an ear. There was never a question of whether or not she cared about you. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind either. If she had something to say she’d say it. I’ll always be sad that she’s no longer here, but I’m grateful that I was able to be a part of her life in the brief time that I could. Rest easy, my friend.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the entire Hoang family. Kim had a special way of bringing joy to everyone around her—always ready with a smile and always up for an adventure. For us, that meant countless food adventures and exploring new restaurants together. She even created our “Foodtastic Four,” group where we shared so many laughs and wonderful meals.
Kim had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She was also the best listener, especially when I needed to vent about work—our shared “work therapy sessions” became a fun gossip topic. One of my favorite memories was running into her unexpectedly in Las Vegas during a conference. Without missing a beat, we said hello and immediately followed with, “Want to go to a buffet?” From that moment, we knew we were destined to be food adventure buddies.
I’m so thankful for the few years I got to know Kim and the memories we had are ones that I will cherish for a lifetime. She will truly be missed.
You can look at her face and see beauty so far within her soul. Her face will remain within me always as I raise my son to always beware and have kindness to others because we dont know what others are going. thru and to be kind to all. May the light shine thru to all loved ones to show she is now in peace.
My deepest condolences to the Hoang family. She loved you all so much.
Kim had the kindest, most sincere heart. Always trying to help others and worrying about everyone else. I can still hear her laughter and her funny commentary. She always had something to say and was constantly making me laugh. I will miss her telling me to “relax” and “chill” because I’m always so anxious and nervous. I will miss her spontaneous vacation ideas – she was such a good organizer for our friend group. I will miss her attempts trying to get me to try new foods as she knew I am such a picky eater. I will miss her constant compliments she was my number one cheerleader. I will miss her for the rest of my days. I will see her in every sunset and the ocean will forever remind me of her.
I know Kim is looking down on us with peace and so much love.
Kimberly was one of the most bubbly, positive, genuine people I’ve ever met. Hearing this news was devastating for me. My love and condolences to her family in this hard time. I’m going to miss your contagious laugh and smile, much love Kimmy. Forever young.
Kim was my niece and best friend. I love so more than any words could ever describe. You had the biggest heart. Thank you for doing so much for all of us. I would trade anything in the world to have you back on this earth. You truly deserved so much better. I’m sorry we couldn’t do more for you. I hope you’ve found peace and are resting. Until we meet again angel
Kimberly was such a bright spot in this world, always full of light, laughter, kindness, and a sweet spirit. She was so helpful and thoughtful, and I will miss her deeply. I’m grateful to have known someone so full of warmth. My heart is with her family and all who loved her.
Kimberly was an inspiring and delightful young woman who touched the lives of so many. She was kind, caring, friendly, funny, bright, worked hard, and loved learning. I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberly when she applied to work for the town. Kim submitted her application and virtual interview and was immediately a standout candidate, but then she withdrew her application! I called her to find out why and learned she accepted a role elsewhere. I was able to persuade her to just come interview with us and find out what other possibilities were out there, then choose what was best for her. She came into that interview and absolutely owned it. She was vivacious, articulate, results-oriented, and hungry to learn. After offering her the position and discussing all the details, she decided to accept! I am so glad that we had the opportunity to have Kim on our team for the 2 1/2 years that we did. We are all better for knowing her, and she will be gravely missed.
Kim, I hope you are at peace and know how much you positively impacted those around you. You are loved and missed!
