  • Dear Hansen Family,
My heart is completely broken. Kathleen was not only my neighbor, she was my very best friend. We were like two peas in a pod — always together, always laughing, always there for each other.
She meant the world to me, and I will treasure every memory we shared. Thank you for sharing her with me all these years. I will carry her in my heart forever.
With all my love and deepest sympathy,

From my Family Jerry, Amy, Andrey, Erik and my

  • I will miss Kathleen more than words can say. She was a woman of remarkable strength and unwavering faith. I always admired the courage and determination she showed in raising her sons on her own. She had such a brilliant and thoughtful mind, and her deep knowledge of Jesus Christ and His plan for us made every conversation meaningful. She truly lived her faith, teaching by example what it means to love one another and to be kind.

Even after she lost her sight and her health declined, her spirit never dimmed. She continued to care about others, about the church, and about what was happening in the world around her. Her heart was generous and charitable, especially at Christmastime when she delighted in giving and making things for others. She loved her family and friends deeply, and that love was felt by everyone who knew her.

I will always treasure our visits and the wisdom, warmth, and light she shared so freely. Her beautiful spirit will remain with me always.

Kathleen Hansen loved me, and I loved her. What a sweetheart she was to me and everyone else she had contact with. She raised a brood of tough boys, including my dear friend Mickey. I’m happy for her now to be in peace on the other side, but its hard for us all here who will miss her..

  • I am so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. I am sure she is happy to be rid of all the bodily complications she has lived with in the past few years. She was such a sweet person. She will be missed.

My dear Kathleen, what a lovely, generous and beautiful soul you have, and what a wonderful, lasting friendship we have had. I know we’ll continue to be friends in the hereafter. For now, I miss you terribly.
Thank you for “seeing” me, and loving me as a dear friend and sister. Our glorious shopping days, luncheon days and chatting, whether in person or on the phone, are sweet memories now, which I will cherish forever. Until we meet again, beautiful friend! I love you!
