Eleanor Gabriela Ray

Eleanor Gabriela Ray (Sansonetti), of Gilbert, AZ formerly of Naperville, IL passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024, at the age of 101. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 22, 1922 and adopted by Giuseppe and Francesca Sansonetti.

Eleanor was married for over 50 years to George L. Ray (deceased). She loved her two sons Jeffrey R. Ray (deceased) and Scott J. Ray (Laura), her two grandsons Timothy S. Ray (Kaylee) and Jonathon E. Ray and her two great grandchildren Madelyn J. Ray and Eli T. Ray. She also enjoyed her many nieces and nephews over the years. Eleanor cherished her Italian heritage and all that went along with it. Growing up in the church and singing in the choir were some of her fondest memories. Later in life she attended The Compass Church in Naperville, IL. Eleanor will be remembered by her strong faith, her love of family and friends and her sense of humor.

She will be laid to rest in Northlake, IL.

The memories of her will live on in our hearts until we see her again.
