Craig Lee Young, age 55, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family.

Craig was born on July 22, 1970, in Fresno, California. He was a devoted and loving husband and father whose life revolved around his family. He took great pride in being present for those he loved and in building strong, lasting bonds with them. Beyond that, he was a son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Craig leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Sarah Young; his sons, Scott Davis and Christian Young; his father, Christopher Young (Evelyn); his brothers, Christopher Young Jr. and Cameron Young; his sisters, Briana Williams and Taiwo Bloom (Keyth); many extended family members, in-laws, and friends.

Those who passed before him include his son, Cameron Young; his grandmother, Osceola Young; his mother, Annie Williams; his uncles, Elmer E. Young Sr. and Pastor Glenn E. Tillis, Luis Williams, and Aunt Ivy “Jean” Salone.

Craig was known for his playful sense of humor and the joy he brought to those around him. He would often announce, “Your chariot awaits,” when picking someone up—a phrase that never failed to bring a smile. He was also known affectionately to his youngest nephews as “Uncle Finger Eater.” He had a way of turning ordinary moments into laughter-filled memories.

On the rare occasions you could pull him away from work, Craig enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with their families, who loved him dearly. Over the past few years, he grew a beard that became part of his signature look—one he loved and brushed constantly.

A die-hard Raiders fan, Craig represented his team both on game days and in everyday life. In his time off work, his wardrobe was filled with Raider’s gear, which he proudly wore. He also enjoyed playing football on his Xbox, but he never hesitated to set those pastimes aside to be with his family—a reflection of what mattered most to him.

Craig worked as a pest control technician and was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication. He often helped customers with odd jobs around their homes, always willing to lend a hand. To many, he was more than a pest control technician—he became a trusted friend. Beyond his profession, he served his community with generosity and heart.

Craig will be dearly missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
