Submit a PhotoBecky Gruber of Gilbert, AZ, passed away peacefully at the age of 66, on January 19, 2026, at home in the presence of family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Ed & Loretta Rodifer and two brothers, Paul and David Rodifer.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Gruber, and her son, Alex Johnson (Denise) and grandson Landon. Her stepchildren Allen and Morgan and grandchild, Allen Jr.
Her siblings: Pamela Michnoff of Tennessee, Judy Pongetti (Alan) of Arizona, Cathy Stewart of Tennessee, Teresa Barone of Rockford, IL, Charles Rodifer (Mary), Bull Valley, IL, Barbara Davis (Jonathan) of St. Louis, and Sheila Schiff of Cherry Valley, Il. She had many nieces and nephews and their children, plus brothers and sisters-in-laws that she dearly loved.
Becky was born in Jonesboro, Tennessee on October 26, 1959, and grew up with 6 sisters and 3 brothers, who loved her dearly. She attended David Crockett High School in Washington Co., Tennessee. She worked at various banks in the Chicago area.
Becky was involved in her church, LifeChurch of Gilbert, Arizona, and deeply loved and appreciated her pastor, his wife and the entire congregation. She spent her time working with the children’s ministry. She loved the little ones and spent hours putting together little scriptures, prizes and trinkets to share with them.
Becky authored many personalized Christian books for children, including those for her numerous nieces and nephews. Several of her books could be found on Amazon.
Becky loved Jesus and let everyone know it! She shared His love and the gospel with everyone that she came across. She was a generous person with a heart full of love. She was the rock in the family and will be deeply and heartfelt missed.
