Carolyn Perkins

Carolyn Perkins was born February 23, 1940 in Snowflake, AZ to Edgar and Mary Pearl Turley, passed away on February 7, 2026 in Gilbert, AZ. She is survived by her 5 children and spouses, Allen (Kay) Perkins, Donna (Eddie) Miller, Bruce (Diane) Perkins, Valarie (James) Walker, and Judd (Sarah) Perkins, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Carolyn is proceeded in death by her loving husband Frank Perkins, grandson Brandon Coronado, parents, Edgar and Mary Pearl Turley, and sister Judy Johnson and her husband Jerry.

Carolyn spent her life serving her family and in many facets for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including Relief Society and Primary Presidents, Pianist, and youth leadership. She taught Special Education and Kindergarten for 25 years, retiring in 2000.

When she wasn’t teaching or serving, she was busy with her favorite hobby, ceramics.

Carolyn Perkins was a wonderfully caring mother, inspirational grandmother, and doting great grandmother. She is cherished for her kindness and empathy and revered for her spirituality. Her testimony was her beacon, service her passion. She leaves this world a better place, to reunite with her best friend and lifelong love, Frank. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be on Friday February 13 at the LDS church 1520 S. Catalina Street Gilbert, AZ
