Rickie Lee Huitt

Rickie Lee Huitt, 74, born October 29, 1951, in Panora, Iowa, was called home to be with the Lord February 26, 2026, at Banner Desert Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Crees) Huitt, father, Ollie Huitt, and natural mother, Joyce Dissinger.

Rick is survived by his wife of 52 years Judy, daughter Joey (Robin) Shaw, son Andrew (Heidi) Huitt, son Aaron Huitt, grandchildren, Logan Shaw, Sabrina Huitt, and Madelyn Huitt, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, natural born father Ward Mains, aunts and uncles, and multiple family and friends, and fur-babies, Buster and Blue.

Rick worked for 41 years at John Deere. He was very proud of his years and friendships he made along the way.

Rick loved attending his grandchildren’s ball games, working on anything car related, and watching college football and basketball. Iowa State was his favorite team, but he also loved the Hawkeyes. He also loved camping at the Iowa State Fair with family and friends.

Per his request, no service will be held at this time. A private family service will be planned at a later date.
