12/28/1965 - 03/12/2026

Kevin Anthony Walls, born December 28, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2026, in Gilbert, Arizona. Though he had faced health challenges in recent years, his departure still came far too soon for those who loved him.

Kevin was a proud father, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his daughter Jordan, his son Anthony, his sister Crystal, his nephew Jermaine, and a wide circle of friends who will forever feel the space he leaves behind.

A true Chicagoan at heart, Kevin carried his hometown with him wherever he went. He loved everything about the city—its music, its culture, its humor, and especially its sports. His enthusiasm for “Da Bears” was unmatched, and he was also a die‑hard Chicago Cubs fan, following his teams with passion. Anyone who knew him could picture him cheering, laughing, and debating plays with unmistakable energy.

Kevin’s love for music and comedy shaped so much of his daily life. Whether he was sharing short comedy clips, quoting favorite movies, or tapping out rhythms on his steering wheel, he brought a sense of fun and rhythm to every moment. His signature “drumming while driving” became a part of who he was—an easygoing beat that matched his personality.

He graduated from Bolingbrook High School in Illinois, where he played football as a lineman, a role that suited both his strength and his determination. He later attended Northern Illinois University and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies from Roosevelt University, an accomplishment he was deeply proud of. Unhappy in a marketing position early in his career, Kevin purchased a home computer at a time when it was uncommon to have one and taught himself how to build, maintain, and use computer systems. Through determination and self‑instruction, he was able to create a new role within his company as their computer Systems Administrator—marking the beginning of a career that reflected his initiative, curiosity, and problem‑solving abilities.

Kevin was strong‑minded throughout his life, never hesitant to speak his truth or stand firm in his beliefs. His honesty, humor, and unmistakable presence made him unforgettable to everyone who crossed his path.

Kevin will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held in the near future, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory, share stories, and remember the joy he brought into their lives.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
