James Perry Butler

James P. Butler, 77, was born in Altadena, California on July 12, 1948, and passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025 in Chandler, Arizona, after a long battle with  Parkinson’s.  Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Above all else, he loved spending time with family and friends, always sharing jokes hoping to get a good laugh. His spent his career working as a Chief Financial Officer and retired in 2016.

Jim is survived by his wife, Janet Butler, of 46 years; four sons and their spouses, Michael & Allison, Matthew & Rebekah, Daniel and Jessica, and Alexander & Brittany.  He also left behind 12 wonderful grandchildren.  He couldn’t have been more proud of his loving family.  He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
