Ida Isabelle Erickson 84, of Gilbert, AZ. while family members holding her precious, ageless hands, departed this world to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
She was born to Pedro and Vivian Rivera on October 25th, 1941, Embudo, New Mexico. 42 miles from Santa Fe, NM. where she was raised by her loving parents, along with four sisters & one brother.
The Rivera Family relocated to Racine, WI. in 1952, where she would meet the love of her life, Roger K. Erickson. Married on April 8th, 1961, raised three children & celebrated 52 years of marriage together. Ida worked at S. C. Johnson & Son, manufacturing products. She was thrilled to accept a buy out with a lifetime pension payout at 40 years old, which she collected for 44 years.
After Roger retired from AMC/Chrysler with 40 years of dedicated service, they decided to relocate to a warmer climate to Gilbert, AZ. With their loving and great personalities, the Trilogy gated community welcomed them with open arms.
Idaís soul is filled with The Holy Spirit. She was very inquisitive to learn about the events, people, and the thousands of fulfilled prophies that were eye witnessed and documented throughout the 4,000-year timeline of the Holy Bible. She loved having conversations with everyone who had that same passion.
Herís is a special soul who enjoyed activities with her family and friends. Including Game Nights of Bingo, Bunco, Zumba, Old Maid, Ceramics, Thrifting, Greeting Card Making, Painting, Selling at Craft Fairs, Treasure Hunting with her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, Prayer Meetings & Bible Studies, C o ee Clutching, Lunching, Dinner Partyís, Hosting Block Partyís, Rock ní Rolling, and of course Non-Stop Dancing! Including
taking Belly Dancing Lessons! Music has always been a staple in her familyís lives.
With her unbelievable, out of this world energy that she encompassed throughout her entire life, you could never find any Arizona dust on Ida. The only dust there would be is a trail of sparkling stardust on all others from trying to keep up with her. May her luminous light from within always shine so brightly, illuminating a pathway for others to find their way out of the darkness.
She is survived by her three children, Rodger (Angie) Erickson, Lori (Greg Poplawski) & Rick (Heather) Erickson.
