Grady Mills Rodney

Grady Mills Rodney, age 71, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Chandler, Arizona.

Grady was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Southern California. He later made Arizona his home, where he spent his later years. He worked for many years as a plumber, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and practical skills.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Adell Rodney.

Grady is survived by his son, Matthew Rodney, and his stepchildren: Sean Bunker and his wife Janelle Bunker, Kristopher Bunker, and Lisa Bunker. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren.

Grady had a deep interest in church, U.S. and world history, and helicopters. He enjoyed learning, sharing knowledge, and engaging in thoughtful conversations about the subjects he cared deeply about.

A graveside service will be held at Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, Arizona 85297, on January 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., where family and friends will gather to honor and remember his life.

Grady will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his curiosity, and the impressions he left on those who knew him.
