A Life Remembered
Obituary
Brian M Hudson unexpectedly passed away on June 28, 2025 at age 42 in Chandler Arizona. He was born in Mesa Arizona and loved playing sports as a kid. He was a multi-time little league all-star and got a hole in one at golf at age 13.
Brian was a Phoenix Brophy Prep HS Graduate and acquired an engineering degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. After college, Brian had an 18-year career as a Metallurgist, Foundry Engineer and Quality Manager at ME Global Tempe Arizona. He also had temporary assignments at ME’s China and Duluth Minnesota foundries.
However, his most important job was as a loving dad to his 2 children he raised with wife Lindsay. Brian’s children, Blake(12) & Grace(10) are left to carry on his legacy. They fondly joke about the fun they have had playing video games with their dad and nightly book readings together on the couch. Watching the kids play sports was pure joy for him, Blake: baseball and Grace: soccer. His love of Arizona sports and going to games together will always be good memories for them.
He is survived by his parents Mike & Marilyn who raised him to be the great man he was. They lovingly spent time and many meals with Brian & the kids. Mike shared his love of sports with Brian. Marilyn and Brian bonded over music, and she supported him in all he did.
Brian’s memorial service will be held on July 12, 2025, from 11am to 12pm at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 E Queen Creek Rd, Gilbert, AZ, 85297. Reception & lunch will follow at the same location from noon to 2pm. Brian preferred dressing casually, often wearing a sports jersey or shirt. Those who attend are welcome to do the same. Dark colors are not necessary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s name to the American Diabetes Association Memorial Gift Fund.
