Zara LaJune Bishop VanEtta

Zara LaJune Bishop VanEtta, born on November 30, 1989 in Pendleton, Oregon passed away on November 30, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was 36 years old.  She lived and attended school in Hermiston, Oregon and graduated from Hermiston High School in 2008.  She attended Linn Benton Community College, Oregon State University, Central Community College and University of Montana.  In 2021, Zara graduated from Johnny Matthew’s Hairdressing Training School in Salem, Oregon.

Zara had many creative passions with hair artistry, fashion, designing jewelry, playing the piano and singing.  She also loved the outdoors, fishing with her dad, kayaking, hunting and camping.

Zara is survived by her mother, Darcee Bishop, San Tan Valley, Arizona; father, Mark Bishop, Lapine, Oregon and brother, Caleb Bishop, Hermiston, Oregon; grandmother, Betty Bullard, Hermiston, Oregon and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Bullard of Hermiston, Oregon, Sandy and Renee Bishop of Pendleton, Oregon.

Family graveside service was held on December 9, 2025 at Gilbert Memorial Park in Gilbert, Arizona.
