Torrence (Tory’) Adarian Glenn-Clinton, 54 of Gilbert, AZ passed away on May 21, 2024, at Banner Gateway Hospital, Gilbert, AZ. Torrence was born in Mobile, Al on March 23, 1970 to Christiania Clinton Murrell and Washington Glenn and raised in East Chicago, IN. At an early age Torrence accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a devout Christian. As an adult, Torrence made Arizona his home where he met and married his wonderful husband Sean Cady of 26 years. He was the proprietor and co-owner of New Life Wellness.

Torrence was the patriarch of his family dedicated to his spouse, mother and sisters. He was an amazing, devoted and loving “Dog Dad” to his beautiful fur babies- Barkley, Oliver and Olivia. He was a like a ‘second dad’ to all of his nieces and nephews. He is known for his wonderful voice, singing the Gospel melodies of the Lord, who loved to travel the world, taking in concerts and entertainment. Torrence touched the lives of anyone he encountered with his genuine care, compassion and helping hand, always providing jokes and laughter while doing it. He provided outreach to his community as a humanitarian and philanthropist, donating to many charities and churches. Torrence had an Exceptional gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and his warmth and kindness were truly contagious. His legacy is one of love, acceptance, and unending generosity, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to
know him…simply unforgettable!

Torrence is survived by his spouse Sean Cady of Gilbert, Az, Mother Christiana Murell and stepfather Perry Murrell of Williamstown, NJ, sisters Ebony Williams of Pine Hill, NJ, Roya Williams of Blackwood, NJ and Leticia Williams-Moore (David) of Los Angeles CA; brothers Anthony and Darcy Glenn of East Chicago, IN, Damon Glen of Madison Wi and uncle/brother Corey Glenn Shelton, Sr. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Torrence” to his nieces and nephews, Ahtyana Morland, Erica McCauley (Michael), Liberty Bukowski, Andrew Miller and Garrison Cady (Moriah); great nieces and nephews Sanai Tisdale, Mac, Wyatt and Ava McCauley, Sire Jackson, Asher Morland and Alexandria Cady; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. Special aunt Stacey Shelton of Gilbert, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his father Washington Glenn, Leroy Williams, paternal grandparents Margaret Glenn, Dave and Susie Williams, maternal grandparents Casey Clinton and Margaret (Polly) Shelton, Mother-In-Law Barbara Cady, Special Uncle/brother Keddrick M. Shelton, Sr., nephew Alex Miller and niece Ashley Morland.
