Thomas (Tom) Moffit, 65, went home to be with the Lord on July 17th, 2021, in Gilbert, Arizona after a hard-fought battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was surrounded by his wife, Billie, their four children, Cristina Davis, Derick DeRoche and his wife Carolyn, Marley Keilen and her husband Craig, and Cynthia Moffit, along with his mother-in-law, Sandra Buescher. Supporting him from afar were his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and David Ruiz, his nephew and husband Tony Ruiz and John Maphet, his niece and husband Jamie and Luke Guilmette. Left to carry on his legacy are his seven grandchildren, Riley and Madyson Davis, Harper and Charlotte DeRoche, Noelle and Luke Rogers, and Knox Keilen. He joined many relatives and friends in Heaven including his parents Robert and Gloria Moffit, and his father-in-law, Bobby Buescher.
Tom lived a fun and adventurous life filled with family, friends, travel, and most of all, love. He loved Jesus; he loved Africa, and Alaska, and cruising; he loved his family – his wife, children, grandchildren, and all of his family; and he loved to laugh. We will always remember his silver-lining outlook, and his famous words, “It’s all good.” You are so right, Tom. You are finally in a place where “It’s all good.”
Tom’s celebration of life will be held at 10:00 on July 31st at Cornerstone Church – 1595 S. Alma School Rd., Chandler, AZ, 85286. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to our ALS fundraiser walk at https://www.facebook.com/donate/243392257259378/.
So long my brother, until we meet again….and drink a beer.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you & your family.
