Obituary
Teresa Grabar Corso peacefully passed away on August 9, 2024, in Gilbert Arizona at the age of 72 after a sudden infection attributed to a hip replacement. She was born on July 18, 1952, in Burbank, CA and was the middle child of Theodore and Virginia Grabar.
Terry grew up in Burbank, California and graduated from John Burroughs High School in 1970. Following high school, Terry began her career in the music industry with Motown & CBS Records where she continued throughout her 20’s. In 1980, she transitioned over to a career in Administrative & Management within a multiple of industries to include Fortune 500, Food & Wine, Financial and Banking Institutions. Terry was enthusiastic, self-motivating, determined and was involved in many charitable organizations.
In 1984, after a long courtship, she married the love of her life Chris Corso aka Christopher Francis Dominic Corso. They resided in Sherman Oaks with their fur babies (Cyborg, Chance & Echo). Terry was a huge animal advocate and rescue volunteer, giving selflessly of both her time and finances.
Terry and Chris were very passionate about travel. They loved the ocean and were both certified divers and traveled extensively including Cabo, Turks & Caicos, the Bahamas and the Florida Keys.
Terry is known and loved for her positive personality and attitude as well as her unconditional love for others and animals. She enjoyed music, concerts, reading and the feeling of the sun on her face. She especially enjoyed spending time with her pets.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chris Corso, mother Virginia Grabar, father, Ted Grabar, and brother Tom Grabar. She is survived by her niece Tish Grabar.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 E Queen Creek Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297.
