Tammy Sue Elizondo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona, at the age of 59. Born on November 7, 1965, in Kellogg, Idaho, Tammy brought light, laughter, and unconditional love to all who knew her. She attended school in Kellogg, where she met her husband. They were married on December 2nd, 1983 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Tammy’s life was one of deep compassion and joyful energy. She grew up in Kellogg and lived in numerous places throughout her journey—including Pinehurst, Los Angeles, Tacoma, Huntington Park, San Pedro, Palmdale, Chandler, and Mesa—making friends and touching lives in every community she called home.

She held many roles in her lifetime, each marked by kindness, service, and strength. Tammy worked as a hospice nurse, a customer service expert at allstate insurance and wns north america, she was an office manager for the family body shop business and for her daughter-in law’s cheer gym, she was a school receptionist, a computer teacher, and more. Whether supporting patients, teaching students, or uplifting co-workers, she did so with grace and heart.

Tammy had a generous spirit and was deeply committed to helping others. Over the years, she dedicated countless hours to volunteer work—serving as an ayso soccer coach, board member, and food vendor, and contributing year after year as a devoted pta member. She taught esl parents how to use computers and was always ready to lend a hand in her local community. She was also a proud member of a crochet club and book club. Her example of service left a lasting mark on everyone she served.

Known affectionately as the sunshine of her children’s lives, Tammy was the glue that held her family together. She had a welcoming personality, a non-judgmental spirit, and a deep love for everyone she met. Her passions included family cooking, collecting decks of cards and playing card games, decorating her home, and her faith in God. She had a love for collecting purses with matching shoes as well as for studying the paranormal.L

She always brought laughter with her signature phrases like “heecups and sheecups,” “It’s not a pinky, it’s an Inky,” “It’s not a car, it’s a buggy,” and “Shhh, don’t tell your dad.” She often told her children and grandchildren, “You are my sunshine,” and never missed a chance to say “I love you, Mija” or “I love you, Mijo.” Her presence was as comforting as it was vibrant—she truly shined bright like a diamond.

Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and empathy. She reminded others often that “everyone has a story” and believed in helping and loving everyone, just as they are.

  • The Keeling Family

It is with great sadness, but we come offering our deepest condolences to the Elizondo family. Tammy was indeed an amazing woman. It was a pleasure coaching alongside her, against her, and just being in her company. Soccer brought our families together, but it was the genuine love we shared amongst us they kept us together. Remember, “Earth has no sorrow the Heaven cannot heal!” There’s great joy knowing that her faith ensures that she is with the Lord. Our prayers go out to her family and friends. May she Rest In God’s Eternal Peace
