Sandra Kay (Sandy) Fleming

Sandra Kay (Sandy) Fleming, 78, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025 in Florence, Arizona. She was born to Henry and Lola (Smith) Curley in Chicago, Illinois on May 12, 1946.

Sandra graduated from Lake View High School in Chicago, IL in 1964 . On May 3, 1969, Sandra married William Robert (Bill) Fleming Jr. Together they built a wonderful life and they would celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary before William’s passing in 2005.

Sandra’s adventurous spirit took her all over the United States before she eventually settled in the Phoenix Valley, where she continued a life filled with love, laughter, and good friends.

Sandra found joy in her involvement with her community and enjoyed gathering with her friends to play cards and games, take day trips, and lend a helping hand whenever needed. Sandra’s warmth, strength, and support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sandra was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William; her sisters Carol and Mary; and her parents, Henry and Lola. Sandra leaves behind her loving daughters, Erin and Kristen.
