Samantha Jean Rodberg, 46, of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, after a brief illness.
Born on March 2, 1978, in South Bend, IN, to Stephen R. Kull and the late Carolyn J. (Bullock), Samantha attended the University of Indiana, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. She thrived in her marketing career, embracing its daily challenges with enthusiasm.
Samantha had an incredible zest for life, finding joy in traveling, painting, attending concerts, and riding fast roller coasters. She cherished her time in Hawaii, loved hiking, kayaking, zip-lining, and riding horses, and was a passionate Notre Dame Football fan. In September 2024, she embarked on a memorable trip to Germany, where she spent quality time with her German family.
Her generous spirit shone through in her constant acts of giving, always putting others before herself. Samantha’s vibrant personality and love for life touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A passionate animal lover, Samantha had a special affection for monkeys and was dedicated to animal welfare. Her cherished cats, Roswell, Kingsley, and Leo, were a testament to her love and care for animals.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Stuart Rodberg; her father, Stephen R. Kull; her brother, Chadd S. Kull; her nephew, Maddox C. Kull; and her uncle, Gary F. Bullock. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends who shared in her life and love.
Samantha is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn J. Kull; her paternal grandparents, Irvin E. and Eleanor A. Kull; and her maternal grandparents, Winston and Jean Bullock.
Cremation will take place with arrangements being made by Gilbert Memorial Park in Gilbert, AZ. Memorial Contributions in Samantha’s name may be made to the Arizona Humane Society, https://www.azhumane.org
