Raymond John Hergenreder, 78, of Greeley, Colorado, entered into the gates of heaven on September 20, 2021. He was born February 21, 1943 in Milliken, Colorado to his late parents John and Katherine Hergenreder. Raymond is survived by his wife, Judith Kay Hergenreder and his sister Annie Dishman (Lad). He is also survived by his two daughters, Jodi Lynn Burge (Steven Thomas) and Robin Kay Schrader (Stacey Lee), of Gilbert, Arizona. Raymond has joined the following loved ones in heaven: sister Ruthie Hergenreder, father John Hergenreder, mother Katherine Hergenreder (Pratt), and sister Shirley West (Bert).

Raymond had three grandchildren; Amber Rae Sell, Shelby Lea Schrader, and Austin John Schrader (Brittany Alexa). Raymond also had four great-grandchildren; Jaxson Jacob Sell, AleAna Faith Sell, Juniper Grace Schrader, and Delilah Joy Schrader.

Professionally, Raymond worked as a lineman for 37 years with Xcel Energy in Colorado. He was also an avid farmer for 20 years. Raymond was a dedicated servant of the Lord, and faithfully attended church at Greeley First Assembly until relocating to Arizona in 2013, where he attended at Desert Springs Church. While at Greeley First Assembly, Raymond served as a deacon and a board member. He was also a member of Desert Springs Church. He never missed an opportunity to share his faith and let others know about the Lord.

Raymond loved a good game of golf, classic cars, watching football, fishing the Poudre River, and enjoying all the moments possible to be with his treasured family. He was kind and generous to a fault; it did not matter who needed help or why, he was always willing to help. Raymond was, above all, a man of love. Raymond’s family and loved ones will miss him until they can all meet again.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Raymond’s life Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10 AM at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond’s honor can be made to Desert Springs Church via www.shelbygiving.com/app/giving/desertspringschurch.
