About Phyllis A. Rocha

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis Acosta Rocha, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched. On September 29th, 2021 Our Lord and Savior took her Home to begin her Heavenly life.

Cherished mother of Genaro Rocha Jr. (Wendy), Christopher Rocha (Maria) and Angela Gonzalez (Angel). Loving grandmother to Maria Angelina, Alexandra Michelle, Delaney Kirsten, Celeste Serina, Danielle Nicole, and Madison Olivia. Beloved sister of Andrea Gragg, Luciana Gonzales and Ray Carrillo.

Phyllis was a devout Catholic, seamstress and avid quilter. Her hands were rarely still and she thrived devoting much of her free time doing volunteer work at the House of Refuge and Gilbert Historical Museum. She adopted many people to her family along the years and touched many lives with her love and support. She lived for spending time with her immediate and large extended family. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.

Rest in peace my beloved cousin. I was so sad to hear of your passing. Although we did not see each other very often, I enjoyed our get togethers. I especially liked going on bus trips to the casinos with you and cousin Andrea. You were so nice and cheerful and it was a pleasure spending time with you. You will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to her loved ones.
