Paul Charles Kirchhardt, aka Chuck, passed away on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 in Gilbert, Arizona at the age of 82.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Chuck was born in 1942 and raised with his 3 older siblings in his family home in Chicago.   After graduating high school, he joined the Army National Guard and met the love of his life, Darlene. Throughout their 52 year marriage they started a successful business, raised 3 children, and started a new chapter in Arizona where they welcomed their children’s spouses and 8 grandchildren.

Chuck led an active life where he enjoyed cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams, traveling, driving on scenic roads and “off-roading”, baking, playing dice or poker, going out to eat with friends or family, and watching the sunset with his favorite drink.  Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; his sister, Pauline; his brother, Harry and his parents, Paul and Maria.

Chuck is survived his sister Dorthea; his children, Keith (Debbie), Renea (Bryce), Craig and his grandchildren, Kollin (Breana), Jordan; Matthew, Trenton, Mason; Megan, Shannon and Connor.

A viewing and mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 20615 E Ocotillo Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.  Chuck’s Celebration of Life and Reception will also be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at 3:00-6:00p.m. at Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery/Funeral Home, 2100 E Queen Creek Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85297.
