Submit a PhotoMichael P Schmidt, born October 28, 1954, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 10, 2020. He was met in Heaven by his son Jason, father Theodore, mother Norma, and his brothers Teddy and Tommy. He is survived by his children: Anthony(Holly) and Heidi(Clay); grandchildren: Cameron, Lorelai, Anthony, Braun and Max; and siblings: Kathy, Tim, Peggy, and David.
Michael retired after proudly being the fourth generation to work for the railroad. He was known for his contagious laugh and incredibly generous spirit. He will be missed by many.
Because of pandemic rules and regulations, private family services will be held. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when able. He will be cremated.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was an amazing man, brother, and father. When I think of him, I see his smile and hear his laugh. He will be very missed.
