Marcus H. Low, 29, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024, in Gilbert, Arizona surrounded by family. He was born to Edmond and Maly Low in Sacramento, California on July 1, 1994.
He was known by friends and family as loyal and faithful to the end. One of his passions in life was to create delicious foods from around the world: American, French, Italian, and Asian, especially Japanese cuisine. He loved all things Japanese. He worked at Shimogamo.
Marcus is survived by his parents: Edmond and Maly; siblings: Esther (Dowdle), Jacob, and Isabelle; niece and nephew.
The memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 – 11:00AM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 S. Catalina St., Gilbert AZ 85296
His resting place will be in the Memorial Room at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 E. Queen Creek Rd., Gilbert AZ 85297
Still hard to accept you’ve passed, I’ve known you for over 20 years. We hung out so much as kids you practically lived at my house sometimes. You were one of the people who helped while my mom was passing and again after my dad passed. You were a great friend who brought joy to people who knew you; I miss you so much brother. Looking forward to seeing you again in the next life.

I had the privilege of meeting Marcus at Clever Koi. He was always hard working, eager to do his best. He had a keen eye for attention to detail and loved learning new skills in the kitchen. He had a calm demeanor and was quick to lift anyone’s spirits if they were having a bad day.
Very sad to hear of his passing, sending love and prayers to his family and friends of whom he left a lasting impression.

Marcus and I had the pleasure of working together at Nico Heirloom kitchen and also Clever Koi . Marcus was very passionate about his craft and incredibly skilled . I always admired his level of knowledge and his impeccable knife skills . Marcus was great to the people he worked with , and inspired his peers . You are missed by many chef , until we meet again , kanpie !
I and the OWNT clan he gamed with send our deepest condolences, he was ( and is ) a great friend to all of us . I remember ingame with him swapping recipes ( I am a licensed Chef ) . He will be eternally missed by all .
It seems like yesterday we were talking about anime and Japan and your trip there, or late night laughing on the ventrillo server while playing some random game.
Marcus, you have left a spot that can never be filled. I only wish I had had the pleasure to meet you in person. I know you as Default_33, Marcus, but more importantly as a good friend. May you rest in peace free from any pain or demons.
