A Life Remembered
Obituary
Lisa Helene Schwarz, 92 Born, July 31, 1928 Passed to be with God December 8, 2020
She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Helmut Fritz Rudolph Schwarz.
Her son Klaus and wife Karen with four children, Christopher, Stephanie, Sarah and Kyle, with two grandchildren, Riley and Payton, and Daughter inlaw Michelle, with two children, Benjamin, and Victoria, and two grandchildren, Jacob and Kaylee for a total of six wonderful grandchildren and four amazing great grandchildren, who she cherished with all her love and admiration.
Lisa was a remarkable, outstanding loving wife with all the qualities a man could ever ask for. During her 92 years, she used her sewing skills to making hundreds of quilts for the needy through the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and loved to designing and making her own clothing and for friends children, all while wearing her string of pearls and looking her best. She exemplified the art of cooking from all nations, including her phenomenal pastry expertise. Her passion was to love all, be kind and loving, helping anyone needing help and ready to travel on a moment’s notice, with a suitcase packed. Always had humor and greeted the day and everyone with her million dollar smile. We will all miss Oma, Lisa’s wit, humor, and smile, we will all think of her often, in our hearts and the legacy she is leaving behind. Love you all forever.
A loving note from Oma, your Lisa, To my loving husband Helmut, I will forever be in your heart and love you always. I thank god that we were blessed to having our 70th wedding anniversary during these past 74 years of our love affair. To, those who cared for me so graciously these past years, I thank you from all my heart, appreciated you all, and leave you with my “Oma smile.” To my “guter” Klaus and Karen, your sacrifice to care for me and dad in your home these last years is without words, what I have taught you and very proud of your decisions along with all the responsibilities. This allowed me more time with everyone to giving back more memories, all my love, smiles and appreciation. To all my grandchildren and great grandchildren, be kind in your life… remember me, and know I love you all. To all my friends, neighbors, those in the USA, please remember me during all the fun times, whether with laughter or sharing the sadness, we were together. And to those over seas in my home town, Bitte behalten Sie mich in Ihren Herzen und denken Sie von Zeit zu Zeit an mich in lustigen Zeiten, was wir geteilt haben, mit alle liebe die lisa, Lastly, please keep me in your hearts and cherish all we shared, I was blessed at the end to having held hands, being with those that I loved so dearly. Please don’t be sad, it is far easier to being happy, and spreading that feeling than to being sad. I end with….. “a huge smile, till next time, hugs and kisses”. Your loving Oma Lisa
