Born in Casa Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 24, 1970, Laura’s spirit was as expansive as the landscapes she experienced throughout her life. A lover of culture, color, and flavor, she infused every aspect of her being with a rich tapestry of experiences. Her deep faith provided a constant source of strength and comfort throughout her life, guiding her actions and shaping her unwavering optimism. Beyond her many talents, Laura possessed a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and included, a skill that, combined with her boundless generosity, enriched every aspect of her life. She enjoyed friendly rivalries in various sports and activities throughout her life. After studying accounting in Mexico, she embraced a life of adventure, residing in Kansas and California before finding her true home in Arizona, where she met and married the love of her life, Joseph Hennessy. Their union was a testament to their shared values, their unwavering support for each other, and their deep devotion to their family and faith.

Together, they created a loving and nurturing environment for their children. Laura was a devoted mother to her daughter, McKenzie Hennessy, and a loving stepmother to Isaac and Adisen Hennessy. She poured her heart into raising them, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of pursuing one’s passions, always grounding them in their faith. Her home was always open, a welcoming haven filled with laughter, warmth, and the tantalizing aromas of her exceptional cooking, reflecting her deep appreciation for diverse cultures and culinary traditions. She often incorporated her competitive spirit into family games and activities, fostering a playful and engaging atmosphere.
