Kevin Peter Riccoboni, 61 years old, was born on July 5, 1961 in Bronx, NY. He went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2023 at his home in Chandler, AZ surrounded by his family.

He leaves behind wife Norma Riccoboni, daughters Nena and Sarah Riccoboni and Melissa Kivisto, son-in-law Corey Kivisto and grandchildren Isiah, Charlee and Ellee Kivisto.  His father, Peter Riccoboni, brothers David and Denis Riccoboni and their spouses Renae Nelson and Stacy Riccoboni. And many other extended family members who love him very much. He was preceded in death by his mother Enes Riccoboni and his grandparents.

His career began at Motorola Semiconductors in the technology industry, continuing onto America West/US Airways Airlines and finished his career at Invitrogen/Life Technologies/Thermofisher Scientific, San Diego, CA in 2015. He achieved high levels of expectations on every demand that was placed on him. He had a passion for learning and read continuously.  His hobbies included spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, scuba diving and spending time at Cornerstone Church and his Men’s Bible study group. His beautiful smile and friendly, giving personality will be missed by all.

He leaves behind a great legacy of his faith in Jesus, dedication for his family and a huge heart filled with love for every life he touched. His greatest desire was to share his testimony on how God has been with us in every step of our journey. He was grateful everyday for how God had blessed him and guided him in every step.

I did not get to meet Kevin but I am blessed in knowing his daughter and am so thankful for her in my life. It hurts to loose a loved one so much, but there is so much peace and overwhelming joy to know Kevin is in Heaven-pain-free, healthy and hanging out with our Jesus.

  • Kevin was a blessing to all. Caring, charismatic. I’ll never forget how he so smoothly ran our daily fab startup meetings at Motorola MOS12 from 1993 onwards.

I interviewed with Kevin, and when I told him Manufacturing was the internal customer for equipment engineering, the biggest smile came across his face and he said “I think you’ll work out well here”. I got the job offer and joined Motorola.

Sorry to see Kevin pass at such a young age. Blessings to Norma and the children.
