Obituary

Kathy Morales Munguia (61) of Phoenix Arizona, passed away on July 31, 2021 with her children and family by her side.

Kathy was born September 5, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Joe and Carol Morales. Kathy was a graduate of Maryvale High School and Cosmetology School soon after in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kathy’s most important role was Mom. She raised her five children on her own as a single parent. Kathy enjoyed life and being around people and family. Some of her favorite past times was sewing, quilting, crocheting, reading, and music concerts. Kathy was known for her great smile, contagious laugh, energy, arts & craft skills, and caring for others. Kathy was also a second “Mom” to many of her children’s friends.

Surviving are her children Marc, Javier, Barbara, Mel, and Ana. Surviving as well is her grandchildren Gaby, Lala, A.J., Cece, Jojo, Momo, Roxi, Silas, Perry III, and Michael. Kathy is also survived by her sister Rosie, brothers Frank, Henry, and Ben. Kathy will be reunited with her mother and father Joe & Carol Morales, brother Joseph Morales, and son in law Daniel Martinez Saenz who preceded her to Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Arrangements:

We will celebrate a memorial of her life on Friday August 20, 2021.
