Submit a PhotoGILBERT ARIZONA – Kathie 77, lost her battle with ALS on May 27, 2022. She led a very happy, active life filled with family, friends and many activities, such as tennis, bowling, golf and travel.
Kathie married Fred and they were lucky to have celebrated over 56 years together. She is further survived by son Timothy, grandson Zachary, sisters Sue (Harry) Schwochert, Mary Varga, and brother John (Beatrice) Varga, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Kathie grew up in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Loretta Varga and graduated from Juneau High School. Her early dreams were to jump horses, own a Corvette, and ride in a limo, all of which came true. She really loved being a mom and grandmother. Her working career, was in accounting, retiring from her husband’s company, C-Graphic in the year 2000. Moving to Arizona to a 55 and older community for the winter months, making new friendships, then coming home to Wisconsin each summer was the ideal lifestyle. Her beautiful smile and easy temperament will be remembered by all the lives she touched. A Celebration of Kathie’s Life to be held in the near future.
