It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justin Michael Ellis, who left this world far too soon due to a motorcycle accident on the morning of April 6, 2023, while commuting to work. Justin was just 26 years old.
Born on February 13, 1997, Justin was the youngest of three sons of David and Cindy Ellis, and the younger brother of Jacob and Brett. He also leaves behind Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles and many friends. Justin is preceded in death by his Grandfathers David Wayne Ellis Sr and Richard David Webster.
Justin was born in Commerce Township, MI and grew up in Saline, Michigan then moved with his family to Chandler, AZ in 2009 where he attended Hamilton High School and was a member of the Air Force Junior ROTC program. After graduation, he attended Chandler-Gilbert Community College where he studied general arts. Justin began his career at Home Depot in 2018 where he worked in Freight, Tool Rental, and Receiving and quickly became a valuable member of the team. He had a strong work ethic and was described as very dependable. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his colleagues, friends, and family.
Justin was a kind, gentle soul. Qualities you recognized as soon as you met him. He was easy-going in his flannel shirts and baseball caps. In his free time, Justin enjoyed playing on-line games with his friends, and indulging his adventurous spirit through snowboarding, indoor rock climbing and taking rides on his motorcycle through the beautiful winding mountain roads.
His passing is an unthinkable, immeasurable loss to his family and friends, and to the many lives he touched during his brief time on this earth. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 14th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbert Memorial Park, located at 2100 East Queen Creek Road in Gilbert, AZ 85297 (408) 935-5858.
