Joseph David Kraft Senior, 75, of Gilbert Arizona passed away unexpectedly at home February 8, 2025. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather—affectionately nicknamed “Rocky.” Joe will always be remembered for his willingness to help others.
Joe was born October 6, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and married his high school sweetheart. Joe and Ann were married for 58 years and had 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.
While attending the University of Wisconsin, Joe worked and completed an apprenticeship in tool and die making, which he enjoyed and became highly skilled at. He owned his own company, Tooling Technologies in Franklin, Wisconsin.
Joe enjoyed carpentry, traveling, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Joe loved Arizona and enjoyed 6 ½ years in his Gilbert home. He was very attached to his dog Molly, a feisty dachshund who adored him.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Ann, beloved son Joe Jr., and caring daughter-in-law Flo, brother Mark, beloved grandsons Braden and Jed, and cherished granddaughters Rowan and Ruby, special niece Michaela, and Amber Rasmussen, former daughter-in-law. He is preceded in death by loving sons Jason (1972-2017) and Erick (1977-2021), brothers Ed and Bill, sisters Pat and Nita, and other relatives and friends.
