Joseph “Joey” A. Soltero, 40, born April 13, 1982 in Monterey Park, CA was called home on September 3, 2022 from his home in Gilbert, AZ. Joey is survived by his son, Jacob and daughter Peyton, his mother Yolanda, Father Joe, Step Father Raymond and his four siblings, Justin, Courtney, Joshua and Quentin. Joey lived a very happy life filled with family and friends. Joey had several interests and hobbies which included carpentry and art. He was also an all star on a baseball field and growing up, an amazing skater. He was so gifted and talented with a very creative mind. You’d normally find him under a car hood or in a shop mastering his craft. He was a lover of animals and was a dog dad to his beloved Chanel whom he lost a few years prior. Joey will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am September 16, 2022 at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert AZ 85297, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at 9:00am.

  • I had the pleasure meeting Joey when he was just five years old, and he was always a delightful kid full of kindness and with a kind heart. He would call me Uncle Rob each time we saw each other, and I will always see him as my nephew who was always that loving, thoughtful kid I grew to know and love. I know his family is heartbroken and I share in their grief, and I will always remember Joey as that skinny adorable kid that everyone loved

U grew up in Fontana for a few years @ auntie Lydia and uncle Chuey s house , Where we played football baseball and boxed in the front yard. U became my favorite lil cousin.
