I first met Joan in 1967, in Markham, IL through Mitch Hajda’s friend, George Bishton, who I was going with at the time. I have to say we hit it right out of the ballpark when we first met. I had never met anyone sweeter or kinder to me then she was with the fact that we had just met that evening. From that point on, you could have said we were inseparable. We had stored some wonderful memories together. Laughter was our best feature, to say the least! Her laugh was irreplaceable but her smile brought out her best features. I shall never forget it. We were a team back then. In 1970, I believe, is when Mitch and Joan and their two little ones, Joey and Tiffany left Illinois and moved to Arizona. I had almost 3 years being with Mitch and Joan and stayed friends with them through letters across the miles to Arizona and vice versa. Was such a shock to me when I heard of Joan’s passing this year, 2022. Just couldn’t be or shouldn’t be, Will miss her with all my heart! My condolences to Mitch and his family. They lost a precious part of them, amen. God bless and give you peace.

I am sending my most sincere condolences to the entire Hadja family. I have known Joan as my best friend Tiffany’s mom for the better part of 35 years. I will always remember the Fourth of July cookout we would have. Joan would always walk in the room with a big smile on her face and brighten up the place. She will be truly missed.
