Janice Isabelle Hoest

Janice Isabelle Hoest was born October 5, 1931, in Winneconne, Wisconsin to George and Minnie Harper.

At 17 years of age she made her choice to serve the Lord. Later that same year, 1949, she married Elmer Hoest and together they raised 4 children. In 1963 they moved to California and in 1988 moved again to Arizona. They enjoyed many years of having an open home where God’s people and ministry could gather in fellowship until Elmer’s passing in 2016.

Janice entered into rest August 9, 2024, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sarah Fielhaber and Linda Syverson. She is survived by daughter Christa Syverson of Queen Creek, Arizona, and son Sam Hoest of Payson, Arizona, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
