Jim always had a ready welcoming smile and a genuine interest in how you were doing. He was an inspiration for a positive outlook on life regardless of the challenge to be faced. I was proud to have him as a cousin.
Jim was a wonderful Community Leader for Alpine!. I enjoyed serving with him on the Planning Group and seeing you both at Church. He is sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Easterling family.

A man of unquestioned integrity.
Jim, I was honored to call you my friend.
Peggy may the Lord continue to bless you you and your loved ones.
All of us who knew Jim and loved him will miss him dearly. He was not only an exemplary citizen, but a beautiful human inside and out. Passionate about his work, his family, his spirituality and his passion for cycling and exercise. He was the mastermind behind our home remodel on the ranch in Alpine 15 years ago and his work ethic and attention to detail were evident. Never forgotten, he leaves behind a beautiful legacy, especially to his family.
Jim was a good friend. he is going straight to heaven.
