James William Howard Garrison IV

James William Howard Garrison IV was born February 21, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jim’s parents were James and Patricia Garrison. Jim passed on May 14, 2026, in Chandler, AZ, surrounded by loved ones.

Jim is survived by his wife, Vickie, and his 3 Children: James N. (Cecilia) Garrison, Jacob (Lindsey) Garrison, and Brooke (Justin) Carter. Step Children: Valissa (Brian) Hanks and Lashelle (Chris) Stombaugh. 24 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Also leaving behind are his brother, Michael (Cindy) Garrison and family, and his sister-in-law, Doris (Marc) Garrison and family.

Jim had several nieces, nephews, and cousins who are also missing him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, James Garrison III and Patricia Light, his sister Linda Caslow, his brother Marc Garrison, and his nephew Jason Garrison.

A Celebration of Life in Honor of Jim will be held on May 26, 2026.

He will be laid to rest at:

Gilbert Memorial Park 2100, Queen Creek Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297

Jim married Vickie Brimhall in December of 2012; they were sealed in the Gilbert Temple in August of 2019.

Jim spent his life serving others. He was active in the Mesa SW Little League.

He owned a card shop in Mesa. He met many people at those places, and he also did door and trim sales. He never met a stranger! He always had a smile, ask anyone who knew him!

Jim was a friend to all he met. Jim was a wonderful family man, and he had such a strong testimony of our Savior.

He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
