Submit a PhotoHerbert H. Holtzman, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 3, 2023, in Gilbert, AZ. He was born December 16, 1943, in his grandmother’s farmhouse in Halifax, PA. He was the son of the late Herbert and Olive Holtzman, He is also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Holtzman.
Herb was a Decorated Army Veteran who received a Purple Heart for his honorable sacrifice. Herb enjoyed spending time in his garden and watching movies with his two dogs. He was a lover of travel, especially Thailand. He spent time traveling all over the world making many friends along the way. He had a charismatic and generous personality, which people just gravitated towards. He was very witty and loved to banter with family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and always chased his dreams, which lead him to owning American Kitchens, Eagle Industries, Eagle Trucking, and a Dodge Viper Racing Team.
Herb is survived by many siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be private, at the convenience of his family. Herb’s final resting place will be at the Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery.
