I was a class mate of Art in Infantry OCS and Ranger school at Fort Benning Georgia. He was a good friend to me during those days. And I was an infantry platoon leader with the First Infantry Division at the same time as Art was in Vietnam. I mention that because after many months of not seeing each other and many months in Vietnam–As I was walking into a shop in Hong Kong I had to turn side ways to let this other person exit. And to my joy it was Art. We were able to spend a couple of days together being tourists in HK. I have missed his friendship and warm sense of humor all these years and I am sure his friends and family do also. Good bye my dear friend.
