Frances Patricia Flaws

Frances Patricia Flaws (Holland) passed away March 1, 2024. Frances was born in New Zealand January 23, 1935, before moving to the United States in 1980. Frances is preceded in death by her sweetheart Bill, grandson Dante, her parents Pat and Lyn and siblings Ronnie, John and Connie. Beloved Mother of Pamela (Vearle), Steven (Sherry), Michael (Julie) and Kathy (Dean). She has 11 grandchildren and 17.5 (baby due in April) great grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in a variety of callings, her Favorite was the Primary. When her own children were grown, she became a foster parent for Catholic Social Services of Phoenix in the refugee program. She loved each child that came into her home. She taught them, learned from them and was humbled as she heard their stories. Nam, Bac, San, Na, James and Wanyou were a permanent part of her life until the end. She will be missed. Many thanks to Almost Family Home Care and Aegis Hospice, especially Jayme. Her celebration of life will be held at the LDS Chapel at 22424 S. Meridian Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142, on March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. (on Meridian south of Ocotillo).
