Fabian “Leonard” Miranda

Miranda, Fabian Leonard, 72 of Gilbert, AZ passed away on July 28, 2013 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born and raised in Mesa, AZ, he attended Mesa and Tempe High Schools. He was loved by everyone that came into his life. He had a long and successful career as a floral designer and owner of Miranda’s Casa de Flores (later Danelle Florist). He is preceded in death by his parents Leonardo and Helena Miranda and sister Mary Helen. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Janet, his daughters Christy Johnston (Chris) and Lisa Hart (Jim) and grandchildren Greg (Jolie) and Andrew Johnston and Hailey and Jason Hart. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013, from 6-8PM at Falconer Funeral Home in Gilbert, 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert AZ. Services were held at Falconer Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Lund Family Hospice Home at 1982 E. Woodside Ct, Gilbert, AZ 85297. The family will conduct a small, private interment ceremony at Gilbert Memorial Park.
