Edith Gay Frazier née Moore

Gay Frazier peacefully passed away in her home in Gilbert, AZ on 6/14/2025. She’s preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Chelle née Cromer, her father, Floyd Moore, her granddaughter, Grace Frazier, and father to her children, Francis Frazier.

Gay is survived by six children; Pat and Paula Frazier née Zachary, Mike and Kelley Frazier née Eggleston, Deb Kapfer née Frazier, Tim and Julie Frazier née Snelling, Devin Frazier, and Chris and Lori Frazier née Kerr. Gay had 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Connie Moore and brother Floyd Moore.

Gay fiercely loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a way of loving each one individually. She was a great keeper of secrets that were shared with her confidentially. Gay cherished her relationship with her sister Connie.

Gay will be remembered by her love, her bright blue eyes, her warm smile, and healing touch.

Gay’s occupation was a nurse. That healing touch was felt by the many in her care at various hospitals in northeast Missouri, including Scotland County Memorial Hospital. She also nursed in Southern California.

Gay attended Mission Community Church in Gilbert, AZ.
