David Craig Miller was a wonderful Christmas gift born on December 25, 1989, to Norm and Ann Miller in Mesa, Arizona.  He passed away on July 5, 2024.   He was a beautiful soul with a gift for making people feel welcome in his presence.  Always with a genuine smile and a warm greeting, his presence would light up the room.

To know David was to love David.  His friends said it better than anyone could; the world was a better place with him in it; his smile was contagious; he was easy to go to with your problems and always put his challenges aside to help his friends with theirs. It wasn’t uncommon to hear laughter when David was around as he took great pleasure in making anyone and everyone laugh. David quickly made friends wherever he went.

David had the gift of artistry and enjoyed spending spare time drawing pictures and graffiti.  Whenever possible, David would head outdoors, to be found camping or at the river, probably listening to some new music he discovered. He loved music of all genres.

Despite all of these things, his proudest accomplishment was his son, Paxton.  Everyone is astounded by their likeness.  He truly is David’s mini, in appearance, but also easy going personality and love for drawing.

David is survived by his parents Norm and Ann Miller; his siblings Keli (Miller) Hornung (Greg) and Daniel Miller; his son, Paxton; Paxton’s mother Tori Griffiths; his nephew Liam Miller; his nieces Sawyer and Finley Hornung; his nanny Margaret Gregory (Bill); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as numerous friends.

While we grieve David, please do something in his name that reminds you of him.  Show someone kindness or be there for someone even if you have your own “stuff” going on.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Rancho Bella Behavioral Health are greatly appreciated.

Services will be at Gilbert Memorial Park on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 5:30 pm.  David would have loved for you to come as you are, so please, no special attire desired or required.
