About David A. Wick
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Wick, beloved husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, friend, and adventurer. Dave passed away peacefully at home at the age of 63.
Born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Jean and Donald Wick. Dave was a man of quiet strength, deep wisdom, and boundless appreciation for the outdoors. He found peace among open skies and the stillness of the desert where he felt most at home.
At home, Dave was just as steady and grounded. He was a devoted husband to Tammy, with whom he shared 13 years of love, laughter, and countless memories. His stories, patience, and quiet humor enriched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Tammy, sons Ramon (Amber) Wick and Ryan Wick; brothers Steven and Michael; stepdaughters Jamie Neal (Justin) and Kaitlyn Orlando (Giovanni); and his cherished grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by extended family and a circle of friends.
One of the final and most treasured conversations Dave had was with his son Ramon, in which it was confirmed that Jesus Christ was-and is- his Lord and Savior. Because of that truth, for those who believe, this is not a goodbye, but a see you again.
In honor of Dave, we invite you to take a walk in a place he would have loved—somewhere wild, warm, and wide open. Listen to the wind. Watch the light change. That’s where he’ll be.
A celebration of life will be held on August 16, 2025 at 1:00pm at Gilbert Memorial Park, 2100 East Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297 . In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
