Constance Louise Langley passed away in Phoenix Arizona on February 22, 2023.  A memorial service will be held in San Antonio, Texas at a later date.  Connie was born on September 9, 1936, in Waltham, MA to Harriett Louise Howes and Walter Arthur Alsop.

Connie is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Langley, Jr. of Gilbert, Arizona, her brother Albert Walter Alsop of Wilmington, Delaware and three children, Mark Jannasch and wife Eva of San Antonio, Texas, Mike Jannasch and wife Janet also of San Antonio, and Debra Duff and husband David of Cibolo, Texas.  She has four grandchildren, David Lee Jannasch and wife Kayla of Ocala, Florida, Ashleigh Nicole Maldonado and husband Zack of Waco, Texas, Samantha Louise Duff and partner Kat Gutierrez of San Antonio, and Kelsea Marie Duff of Cibolo, Texas.  She has four great grandchildren, Layla Jannasch, Kyleigh Jannasch, and Kaleb Jannasch all of Ocala Florida and Novalee Elyzabeth Maldonado of Waco, Texas.

Connie was a graduate of The San Antonio College of Nursing and of The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Masters in Nursing Science.  She was a proud member of the Nursing Honor Society and was a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC).

Connie worked for many years in San Antonio in the allergy practice of Dr. Sam Schwartzberg who encouraged and supported her education in her medical career.  She also worked in oncology research for T.R.U.E. Research Foundation where she assisted in conducting the PCPT and SELECT research studies at Wilford Hall Medical Center.  She also conducted oncology research at The Cancer Therapy and Research Center (now The Mays Cancer Center at UT Health) in San Antonio.
