Christopher Chase Nielsen

Christopher Chase Nielsen passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 29.  Born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, on January 11, 1993, Christopher grew up in the Valley, where he was active in sports, scouts, camping, and all things outdoors.  In 2012 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and following basic training graduated from Combat Training with the 434^th Field Artillery Brigade.  He then went on to complete jump school with the 82^nd Airborne.  Christopher loved working with his hands and found work in carpentry, traveling to Virginia and Salt Lake City.  He most recently moved to Oklahoma City, where he leaned into his entrepreneurial, adventurous spirit and successfully started his own construction company, Buildarc, LLC.   Ever selfless and thoughtful, with an endearing wit and a ready, wide grin, he was a good friend to many and cherished his family.  Christopher is survived by his mother, Brenda Morse, and father, Steve Nielsen, as well as his brothers, Eric, Brian, and Mark.
