Submit a PhotoCarol Ann Valentine, born January 1, 1964, passed away October 31, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Carol grew up in Sonoma County, CA where she enjoyed playing soccer and softball for many years. She was then drawn to Arizona where she fell in love with desert life and settled there.
She had an infectious personality and made friends easily wherever she went.
Carol was preceded in death by her father James Valentine, and is survived by her mother Barbara Valentine, sister Kathleen Petersen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
There will be a private service for Carol this year, and a scattering of her remains in the summertime at Lake Tahoe.

I am sorry to her mother and sister and all of Carol’s relatives. Carol was a hoot and a Hollar. She was exceptional at every sport she ever attempted. I am sorry I wasn’t aware of her illness. If family is OK with others from Carol’s high school days to attend her small service in Lake Tahoe, CA. Please reach out to me by email. I did see Carol a few years back when her mother and her visited Reno. Melinda and I met them at Boom Town. I’m grateful I got to have a good visit with Carol at that time. RIP Carol.
