With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Candelaria Valle Bautista, who left us unexpectedly on March 12, 2025, in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Cande’s life was one of love, resilience, and generosity. Born on February 2, 1946, in Santa Isabel, Nayarit, Mexico, she was the youngest of 14 children born to Clemente and Refugio Bautista.
Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her son, Jose Valle. She often said that his birth changed her life for the better, and she poured her heart into raising him with unwavering love and devotion. She took pride in teaching him the values of responsibility, kindness, and compassion, shaping him into the man he is today. She fondly recalled his boundless energy as a child—later understanding it was due to ADHD—but embraced every moment, making sure he never lacked love and guidance. One of her favorite things was spending time with him in any way possible, but also enjoying playtime as much as he wanted, as she wasn’t able to have more children to play with him. Jose was her pride and joy, and she always chose him above anything and anyone else.
Cande shared 54 years of love and devotion with her husband, Irineo Valle. Together, they built a life filled with unwavering commitment, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their love was a testament to partnership and resilience, standing strong through life’s joys and challenges.
She was a woman of immense kindness and selflessness, always ready to give, share, and uplift those around her. She turned strangers into family, creating a community bound by love and generosity. A cancer survivor, she faced life’s challenges with grace and strength, always putting others before herself. She found joy in nature, traveling, and capturing the beauty of the world, especially the breathtaking landscapes and sunsets like those of her childhood home in Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Josefina, Antonia, Marina, Natividad, Hilaria, Esperanza, Rosendo, Clemente, Martin, and Ambrosio.
She is survived by her loving husband, Irineo; her son, Jose; her daughter-in-law, Yessica; her siblings, Rosa and Miguel; and countless family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
